We have amassed a list of cars which are now banned for registration in the capital from various sources and it's hilarious. What strikes us as crazy is the fact is that many of these cars have really stringent air quality checks in place but they find themselves on this list.
Meanwhile there are many cars which don't have any such monitors in place and will still continue to pollute Delhi's atmosphere because they were below the 2 Litre capacity threshold
We also have to comprehend that most of these cars, barring Innova, Bolero, Scorpio and Tavera, are sold in very few numbers compared to some other models not on the list.
If you didn't get our gist, let us explain. You can still register these cars anywhere in NCR, i.e. Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Noida and Gurgaon and escape not just the ban but pay much lower taxes; all of which leave Delhi and fill the coffers of neighbouring states.
